NYSDOT is committed to providing meaningful outreach, public engagement and feedback throughout the project.

Recent Engagement & Outreach

Since the project's inception, NYSDOT officials have met with community members, environmental justice representatives, Bronx Community Boards (3, 6, and 9), as well as elected officials, and will continue to meet with these groups and all community stakeholders throughout the duration of the project. Most recently, on October 20, 2025, NYSDOT provided a project update at the Bronx Borough Board Meeting, where several community board chairs, district managers, and representatives of New York City City Council members were present.
