Streetscapes and Highways

Roundabout Image — This roundabout is part of an interchange on Griffiss Veterans Memorial Parkway in Rome, NY.

Major Deegan Expressway in the Bronx — The Major Deegan Expressway in the Bronx is part of I-87 and runs along the Harlem River.

Route 32 Menands — Route 32, also known as Broadway, runs from downtown Albany into Menands.

Route 17 Route 42 Interchange Monticello — This interchange is between Route 17 and Route 42 in Monticello.

Route 9P Saratoga Springs — Union Avenue (Route 9P) is tree-lined and runs along the Saratoga Race Course and into downtown Saratoga Springs.

Olana Roundabout Aerial — This aerial view is of the roundabout at the intersection of Route 9G and Route 23 near Olana State Historic Site. Note the Rip Van Winkle Bridge and the Hudson River in the background.

Watkins Glen Route 14 and 414 — This is the streetscape of Watkins Glen along Routes 14 and 414 looking north.

Route 5 Downtown Schenectady looking east — State Street (Route 5) in Downtown Schenectady is lined with businesses and restaurants and is equipped with significant streetscaping.

NYSDOT Bridges

I-87 Kosciusko Bridges on the Northway — The twin bridges carry the Adirondack Northway (I-87) over the Mohawk River.

Hutchinson Parkway and East 3rd Street Bridge — The East 3rd Street bridge over the Hutchinson River Parkway.

NYC Kosciuszko Bridge — The Kosciuszko Bridge carries I-278 over Newtown Creek and connects Brooklyn and Queens.

Prattsville Bridge — The Prattsville Bridge in Greene County carries Route 23 over the Schoharie Creek.

151st St Pedestrian Bridge Harlem — The West 151st Street pedestrian bridge extends over train tracks and four lanes of the Henry Hudson Parkway providing access to Riverside Park.

Lake Champlain Bridge — The Lake Champlain Bridge connects New York and Vermont.

Rural Roads and Scenic Highways

Sunrise Route 73 — The sun begins to rise over Route 73 in the Adirondacks.

Route 22 Petersburg — Like many of the NYSDOT's rural routes, Route 22 in the town of Petersburg has beautiful mountain views.

Route 97 Hawks Nest — Route 97, also known as Hawks Nest, outside Port Jervis, is a highway that runs high above the Delaware River. Its nickname is derived from the birds of prey that nest in the area.

I-87 Adirondack Northway — The Adirondack Northway (I-87) runs through the mountains and can't be missed during autumn.
