Work Durations:
Special operations include:
Stop and Go Operations. Work that completes within five minutes and allows workers on foot.
Other Operations. Including but not limited to Mowing Operations, Mulching and Herbicide Operations, Pavement Marking Operations, Temporary Road/Intersection Closures, etc.
Mobile is work that moves intermittently or continuously where the work at any specific location completes within 15 minutes. It is used for vehicle-based operations and does not involve workers on foot. It can be performed during the daytime or at night in accordance with §619-3.19 Nighttime Operations.
Short duration is work that occupies a location for up to 1 hour. It can be performed during the daytime or at night in accordance with §619-3.19 Nighttime Operations.
Short term is stationary daytime work that occupies a location for more than 1 hour during a single daylight period.
Intermediate term is stationary work that occupies a location for more than 1 daylight period up to 3 consecutive days. It includes nighttime work lasting more than 1 hour.
Long term is stationary work that occupies a location for more than 3 consecutive days. It includes nighttime work.
