More on the Project

Virtual Public Outreach Center and Open House Meetings
Virtual Public Outreach Center

New York State Department of Transportation has created a new outreach initiative to raise awareness about the Interstate 81 Viaduct Project and provide the public with important details about the latest plans. The new on-line Virtual Public Outreach Center provides easy-to-access information on all aspects of this transformational project and instructs users on how to submit comments as part of the official review process.

Open House Meetings

Beginning August 24, the Department of Transportation will host a series of eight neighborhood meetings to discuss the project at locations throughout the City of Syracuse and surrounding suburbs. These smaller-scale meetings will take place in local schools and have DOT staff on hand to explain the project and respond to questions. NYSDOT has added a meeting in Camillus so follow the link to find out more.
