I-81 Connect Mobile App

The I-81 Viaduct Project has rolled out an app-solutely essential community engagement tool, designed to deliver convenience and connectivity, reshaping how you receive information, and how you share your questions or concerns about the largest project in New York State Department of Transportation history.

One tap is all it takes to talk to someone from the I-81 Viaduct Project team. Through the touch of a button, callers can connect directly to the project’s dedicated toll-free hotline, or you can choose to draft an email, and receive a timely reply from one of our team members.

When it comes to traffic alerts and detours, there is no need for Central New Yorkers to look any farther than their phones. The I-81 Connect app sends real-time updates right to the palms of people’s hands, through push notifications that are automatically enabled when I-81 Connect is downloaded. If individuals want this information in their inbox instead, they can easily re-route how it arrives and sign up for email notifications.

This innovative interface is also integrated with the project website, allowing folks to seamlessly switch between the two, without missing a beat, as they explore project news, contract updates, renderings, photo galleries, community events, and job information.
